How to get your Bitget API keys (step by step)

1. Sign up / log in at bitget.com and verify your identity.
2. Open API Management and click Create API → Self-generated.
3. Set a passphrase, pick permissions (Read-only / Trade) and bind your server IP.
4. Save the API Key, Secret and Passphrase securely.
5. Disable transfer/withdraw permissions on bot keys.

Security — read this

Never share your secret — regenerate it if leaked. For data-only bots enable read-only. Always whitelist your server IP and disable withdrawals on API keys unless you truly need them — a leaked withdraw-enabled key can drain your account.
