BitMart is a global exchange with broad altcoin listings and a spot and futures API over REST and WebSocket — useful for accessing smaller tokens.

⚠️ The BitMart API is free to use — you only pay trading fees on the trades it places. Fees, tiers and limits change; confirm on the official BitMart docs. Read-only market-data endpoints cost nothing. · Report outdated price →

BitMart's draw is early/long-tail altcoin listings, so it's handy for data on tokens the majors haven't listed — but mind the thinner liquidity.

How to get your BitMart API keys

Log in at bitmart.com, open Account → API Management, create a key, set permissions, copy the secret once and bind your IP.

Security — read this

Never share your secret — it's shown once and can't be recovered (regenerate if leaked). For data-only bots enable read-only. Always whitelist your server IP, and never enable withdrawals on an API key unless you truly need it.

Alternatives

Gate and MEXC are similar altcoin-deep venues. Compare the big three first: Binance, Bybit, OKX. For pure price data, CoinGecko is simpler.
